Gratitude

I was in Bangkok on Friday when the devastating earthquake struck Myanmar and Thailand. I ran for my life down six flights of stairs carrying my three old. Thankfully my family is ok. The people of Myanmar and the those still trapped in the collapsed high rise in Bangkok and their families are living a true hell.   I snapped this photo of a street vendor offering free water as I walked the sweltering and crowded streets to get my kids at school because the traffic was gridlocked and all public transportation was closed. It reminded me that no matter the situation, to do what we can to help others. Hug your loved ones tight and tell them you love them…in seconds everything can change.
